Thermal method Pyrolysis

Process

The thermal method (pyrolysis) uses the process of thermal decomposition, which is based on indirect heating systems without air access. Pyrolysis is a surface cleaning process taking place in a special pyrolysis furnace, where the thermal decomposition of organic compounds takes place at a temperature of 400-430ºC (cleaning chamber). The gases produced in the pyrolysis process are burned in an additional chamber (afterburning chamber) at a temperature of 850-920ºC. Only harmless combustion products are released to the outside, making this technology environmentally safe. Only about 25% of the starting material remains as ash that requires disposal. Thermal metal cleaning has the following advantages: reliability, efficiency, low emissivity.

Usage

Pyrolysis is designed to remove paint, remove varnish, resins, plastics from metal elements such as paint shop equipment (e.g. paint hangers, hangers, hooks, grids, frames, traverses, trolleys, containers) or elements defectively varnished, for which there are no restrictions as to the use of the thermal method of removing varnish coatings, in other cases it is applicable and we recommend a chemical process.
